Remembering the Self

During a particularly challenging time in my life, I learned the importance of self-talk - that how we speak to ourselves, the things we say, the way we say them, have a profound impact on our sense of Self. At these times, it was often difficult to find loving words to soothe myself. I had not yet developed that language, and had no 'template’ to turn to. People preached the importance of self-love and tuning inwards, but I didn’t know what that looked, sounded like, felt like. I never felt I had “permission” to give myself that sense of love and compassion. A sense of not-deserving, unworthiness.

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” - Albert Einstein

How, then, would I create this loving dialogue for myself?

These two meditations (the other one is linked in the “What If… post) were tremendous guides for me on this journey of tuning inwards. It allowed me to deeply immerse in the loving words. Thank you, Sarah Blondin 💛

When I listen to them with my whole Presence, I can feel that deep calmness that I can always access, once having experienced this over and over again with the help of these guides.

May they support you on your journey.
